Can anyone help me. I want to replace the battery for my aging Ixus. It's a 3.7V / 680mAh type NB-1L. The charge drains a bit quickly for my liking and I wondered if I could get an 850mAh one that is rated for the Ixus 300. Will it work with my older camera and recharge in my charger?

I don't know about using an 850mAh battery but you could buy a replacement one here Picstop

It's a compatible battery not an actual Canon one but I use compatibles in my Canon 10D and have never had a problem and these are a hell of a lot cheaper.
