    Hi all,

I'm thinking of getting an ixus 50, but am wondering which SD memory card to buy. It will either be 512 mb or 1 gig. I have looked at the reviews on Amazon, but none are really great to be honest, so was wondering what people recommend for Canon cameras esecially the ixus 50 or ixus 700 (still havent completely ruled this one out yet)

    Thanks

I've got an Ixus 50 and I just bought the standard Bytestor 512Mb card from Amazon when I bought the camera. It's works well. The wisdom on the Canon forums seems to be if you're going to be shooting a lot of movie mode then a large capacity high speed card might be worthwhile, otherwise the standard cards will do fine..

It's a great little camera by the way.
