I am selling my Canon G7X (Mark 1) camera. It is in very good condition and comes boxed with its original accessories and a spare 3rd party battery. I am selling as I have recently purchased a Panasonic TZ100 as I needed the extra zoom. £340 including Royal Mail Special Delivery. For anyone comparing a Canon G7X and Panasonic TZ100 I would say that the Canon is the better indoor camera, whereas the TZ100 is the better outdoor camera - if you need the extra reach. I already have a Sony A6000 with a decent lens for indoor use which is why I have decided to keep the TZ100 and sell on the Canon. In favour of the Canon: Faster lens - it is at least one stop faster so you can use a much lower ISO than with the Panasonic for low light shots. This makes a big difference in indoor lower light situations. The Canon is great for portrait shots. Better Auto - I find that the Panasonic is far to keen to jump straight to ISO 1600 when using Auto ISO in lower light situations. Also the menus and settings are clearer on the Canon. Flip up screen - I find this useful for video when I generally hold the camera at about chest height. Also good for anyone wanting to do selfies. In favour of the Panasonic: Much longer zoom - this is the main reason I wanted the TZ100. On my last holiday I wanted to get shots of the family doing activities such as water sports and the G7X lens stopping at 100mm was too short for that. (I found the 100mm of the G7X to be much better than the 72mm of the latest Sony RX cameras.) Viewfinder - really useful in very bright environments or when using the full length of the zoom - even if the viewfinder is very small.
