Canon A720is or something else?

Had to send my faulty Sony W55 back to Amazon for a refund, so have £120 for a new camera. I was very close to ordering the A720is, but thought i would ask here first in case there was something better/cheaper
Has to be a compact which takes good pics inside esp.

So, is there anything else i should be considering? Any help much appreciated.

Hi - I have used both cameras. You will find the Canon very bulky and plasticky after the Sony. I also found the Canon produced burnt out highlights and had a lot of barrel distortion at the wide angle setting. Low resolution screen too.

I now have a Nikon P50 which I love. It is a very underated camera and is cheap now that the P60 has come out. Uses SD cards and AA batteries like the Canon and build quality is much better.

Just my opinion. Hope it helps.

Anyone got any experience of the Panny TZ3? I like the look of the great zoom on it.
