    Hi guys,

I'm on the brink of purchasing the 650d for £486 from Asda but have been considering all of the models in the title for a few weeks now.

If anyone can tempt me enough with one of theres this weekend please let me know!

Please also state the number of actuations in your reply. Only looking for mint condition and boxed cameras too.

    Budget about £550 for a 7D/D7000, 60D/650D a bit less.

    Thanks

    Sam

D7000, originally 18-105 kit but will sell as body only option if preferred.

Camera is mint, fully boxed with all original bits, around 6k clicks according to photoshop shutter count. Bought new UK stock from John Lewis (Sept 2012), 6 months warranty remaining.

Thanks for the info, I'd be interested in the lens too for the right price :)

I can offer £550 for both or £500 for the body?

Thanks Sam, the 18-105 VR generally fetches a lot more than £50 and is not to be confused with the standard 18-55 kit lens, I will let her know about the body only offer in the meantime and get back to you with regards to that specific item around 12:30 if thats okay.

    Hi Sam,

Had a chat with her and she will sell body only for £510 + P&P (RMSD should be £10 odd).

Sure, body and lens is £650 + P&P (Whatevers over £10 she will pay). In my own experience the postage will run her another £15 due to weight but she will cover any additional.

Hi twist, i guess the lens is off the cards as I wouldn't be able to break the £600 barrier i'm afraid. May I ask for pictures of the camera too? And is there a particular reason why the camera is being sold?

Thanks for being so helpful thus far btw :)

No problem, she will try take some pics tonight (quality may not be great as she'd have to use a phone) but I have no reason not to believe her regarding condition as (a) Ive recently seen it and (b) its someone I work with and they 'baby' their equipment like I do (see my feedback). Reason for sale.... she's just upgraded to my D700.

That's great thanks, I need to give it a little more thought as I had decided as of yesterday that the 7D was the best camera for me however this is the best offer i've seen so far and I need a camera asap.

If I could give you a final answer by this evening would that be ok?

Yeah, thats fine. She said she will get some pics to me later this afternoon, so I'll get them up for you. Get the Nikon, IMO its a better overall camera (also cheaper), especially if you want cleaner hi ISO shots.

Oh, she can post Wednesday to arrive Thursday if you decide to go ahead.

Just as a mental moment question....how much would you pay for a mint and boxed 60d? I also JUST bought a tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 for £200, but your budget looks a bit tight...

Hi, if your budget could stretch to £630 posted, I would be happy to post out my 60D and the Tamron 17-50 mm f/2.8, using RMSD. That would be quite a good deal I think and I would be loosing out on how much I paid for the pair inc postage. To be honest and open, I would then be looking to buy twist's D7000 and 35mm f/1.8, mainly because I have some lenses for Nikon and none for Canon and canon don't do a 35 f/1.8 (sigma do a 1.4, but it is EXPENSIVE!) which is one of my favourite lenses on a crop format camera (50mm ish). I just had a look at the pictures coming out of the 60d and find them to be excellent, just a combination of the aforementioned and my hands needing a bit of a larger grip - as on the D7000

Hi Twist, I've been trying to reach a decision all evening however my gf has thrown a spanner in the works by getting a canon which has swayed me almost, however I know just how good the D7000 is, and how good this particular one is at that.

I don't want my dilemma to delay your sale though so please go ahead in a for sale thread, i'm sure it'll get snapped up very quickly if i'm unable to.

Thanks very much for all of your help once more!

Thanks for the offer judd5000 but I'm almost certain I just want a 7D now. Out of interest how much were you looking for for the 60D?

See above, £630 inc tamron 17-50 f/2.8. Don't really want to sell seperately, otherwise i'll have to shift the lens before i buy twist's and then it would probs be gone. I really wouldn't get a 60D or 7D without investing in a good lens, otherwise the 18mp sensor will out resolve a 'kit' type lens and you might as well buy an old second hand 40D with 10mp. The 17-50mm tamron is about the best crop standard zoom lens for canon other than the canon 17-55mm f/2.8 IS, which is £500 second hand.
