Please someone help before I throw my ps3 out of the window.....
after a year of issue free gaming I am having a mare getting and keeping my ps3 online.
When I first turn it on, it should log in automatically, but doesn't. if I go to view the network settings, it says its connected to my livebox, shows a %age signal strength, but won't allow me to log on (DNS error).
THEN, if I go to set the connection type up again, it doesn't even detect the livebox!!!
Laptop, desktop and 2 x iPhones have no probs..... shall I drop my ps3 and claim insurance?
BTW - ipconfig /all shows only one DNS server...???
Router and Console are in opposite corners of the room, have hardwood floor, so wired connection not ideal, have just bought fifa10 today and am gutted cos I was hoping to whip some @ss ;o)
