    Hi guys,

I'm having a real problem getting surround sound working with my Windows Media Centre to a Panasonic/TV/Surround sound dvd system.

    My PC:
Windows Vista Ultimate - Using Media Centre
"My Movies 2" - to play films.
Asus p5b motherboard (This is what im using for sound)
    Quad Core 2.4GHz CPU
    MSI 8600GT 256MB GDDR2 DVI HDMI graphics.
(No Soundcard just onboard sound -- but the MB site says it should be ok?)

    TV:
    Panasonic PX60

    Surround Sound System / DVD:
    Panasonic sc ht850

I Have a HDMI cable from the motherboard in pc to the Panasonic TV.
I also have an optical audio cable from motherboard to the surround sound system.

What i want is to be able to have sound through the speakers on the tv using the hdmi cable -- this works good.

But i also want to then be able to turn on my surround sound system, and get 5.1 sound from the motherboard using the optical cable. The problem here is, sound only comes out the front speakers -- not the sub or back speakers.

I must be close to get front sound? So im guessing its settings or somthing.

    Can anyone help????

    Many thanks!

    Cheers.
