Cannot connect to sound system

Novice Member
Hi All, have a problem that have occurred twice now and I don't seem to able to rectify it.

I have a Philips 58PUS7555/12 and a Samsung HW-K551 soundbar.

Been working fine for months together, no problem With ARC or anything.

No suddenly it's not working. Turned it all off last night and this morning only TV speakers are working.

In settings when selecting TV sound output I get following error
Cannot switch to HDMI sound system, Sound will be output on TV speakers until your HDMI sound is is available.
So have to use TV speakers that are not best.

The thing is I haven't changed anything over night.

I have turned all power off several times and left it off with no success.

I have factory reset TV, no success.

I have changed all HDMI cables, no success.

I have tried all HDMI ports on TV, no success

It won't use ARC.

Soundbar works using AUX, Bluetooth, Optical, HDMI works on my other Samsung TV.

This happened a month ago or so, and was solved by turning all power off, since then TV had software update but been working for a good while after with no issues.

I'm lost now, I've tried all possible solutions with no success.

Any suggestions?

Nobody that have experienced anything similar?

Philips CS have taken my details and will get back to me, doubt they will.

I have had this before, but was solved with disconnecting tv from power and restarting.

Not had it since
