Cannon EOS 1200D - A good Buy?

I am looking to get DSLR Camera for Xmas. What are everyones thoughts on the Cannon EOS 1200D? Is it worth buying?

I tend to just take shots of Airshows, Landscapes, Buildings, etc.
I am not a complete beginer but my old Camera is a Olympus FE-120. Not great for Airshows or Sports. I have not used a DSLR before but i am good with tech.

Thanks :)

The 1200d is a reasonable entry level DSLR - as @twist says lenses will be the problem esepcially as you mention airshows so long lens probably up to 300mm F5.6 or if you can afford it F4....

If you look on Flickr you can see what you can do with the 1200d

I just done a quick search and some guy is using the cheap 55-200mm lens to produce images of planes.

So yes, it is worth it with the right lens and camera knowledge you will be flying.
