Canadian bargain?

    Had a visit last week from a couple of Canadian cousins.

    They live in Edmonton which is not quite the dark side of the moon, but Sean was adamant that their local store was stocking a 60" Sony LCD for 4000 $Canadian (about £1800). I suggested he had got it wrong somewhere (is there such a thing as a 60" LCD?) but he insisted.

    So I'm going to try to import a ship load of them and offer them at a few thousand pounds each which should mean a tidy profit. Any offers? ;)

    LCD projector or Rear projection TV (RPLCD) is what he means

    No, he meant LCD TV because we were having a barney about the relative merits of plasma v LCD flat panels. but he was from the "plasmas burn out after 500 hours and the gas needs topping up" school of experts so calibrate accordingly.

    Must be the branch of the family we prefer not to talk about :blush:
