    As the title really.

Been considering this DVD recorder for some time (also considered the E60).

I see the HS2 has a PMCIA slot, but could I burn jpeg pics onto a DVD-R on my pc and play them back on the HS2?

    Thanks in anticipation.

With the HS2 you can copy them to the HDD or to DVD-RAM (from which you can move them to your PC) but you cannot burn a DVD-R gallery.

You can create a DVD-Video of images on your PC quite easily. Several applications let you do it or you download a freebe like Spruceup which would let you author something simple (you just add a 'menu' for each picture). These would then be playable in any DVD player (including the HS2).
