    Hello,
The new AX-10 has the new i-link onboard as from the title can you and just as important is it worth it to update. I have a Pioneer 747 which can be attached this way I beleive.
Thank you for your view and help,

    Phill

I'm not sure the AX-10 can be upgraded in the manner you suggest, but the only player that currently uses the i.Link terminal is the Pioneer 757i. The old 747 is not compatible with this interface.

    Update:

Give Pioneer UK a call and ask them about the upgrade available in the states for the 49Tx to 49Txi - if you really want it done it's possible but you may have to hassle them quite a bit.

The cost in the US is $500, so who knows what they'll charge in the UK.
