I am looking to burn american football on to dvd for a friend. I dont have a dvd player/recorder but i do have a dvd burner on my pc and nero software.

Do you know how i can attach my pc or laptop and stream the sky signal on to my pc?

    Thanks in advance

Use the rf out on the rear of your sky+ box,run the lead to your tv card on your laptop/pc and use the recording facility on your card and then copy to dvd.

Probably other ways but works perfectly fine on my pc.

Wouldn't advise using rf. A TV Card would certainly do it - and with stereo audio ;) - but use the s-video input of the card (if you have one).

Sure, but I was addressing the OP. And I think you're probably agreeing with me over rf.

Isn't there supposed to be some shareware that allows you to read the encrypted files directly from a PC?
