    Hey,

I was in Allders today and I was looking at this set of speakers:

    http://www.techtronics.com/uk/shop/50-philips-lx8000-multi-region-dvd-system.html

Anyway, I don't want the DVD player/AMP as I already have my own DVD player, multi region and all.

I've checked philips site, they don't even have that system on their site. But I was wondering if you can negotiate with the shops or online stores so that you want to buy ONLY the speaker package. Obviously the price would have to come down.

Of course you can negotiate anything with anybody but I can't see anyone being daft enough to sell you half of an "All in One" package as there is unlikely to be much demand for the remaining "Half in One"
