I saw a review of the REL Q150 sub in What Hifi and fancy it.

I wonder if you can get REL products for a good price?

Does anyone know who is the cheapest?

Finding mailorder bargain RELs will be difficult because REL is one of the manufacturers who support their dealers by strongly discouraging mailorder of their products.
Like it or not this is the philosophy of a lot of manufacturers.
Still it's a good choice and will be worth hunting around.
Also keep an eye on our classifieds sections (on the associated websites) as we occasionally get used RELs coming through cheap.

I managed to get an ex-demo Rel Q200E from Laservision for just over half price. I was initialy going to get a Q150E but this was a bargain not to be missed. The add was in the HCC clasiffieds, so like Specter said, have a look there to see if one comes up.

Laservision do good prices - much cheaper than Sevenoaks, who charge full wack. They may price match though.

Hold on a minute! - So Laservision - a commercial company - have been using the classified ads pages to sell adverts which are strictly open to private individuals only?

Well, I assumed it was Laservision as the guy selling it works there, but the number I phoned isn't the Laservision number - I just checked it against their web site number and it's different.

I think I may have put two and two together and made 5.

I think they may have been his own subs he was selling, not from the company. He probably gets them at cost after all, and hence the good price. I don't think a company would sell them that cheaply, even as ex-demo. Richer certainly don't.

I could be wrong of course.....:)
