We moved into our new flat a couple months back. I had to replace the TV aerial socket and use a booster as the socket plate was knackered and held together with blutack - previous residents were quite old and I don't think watched much TV.
There were two cables that went into the old back plate, but with the new back plate there was only one input, I used the best looking cable and all worked fine.
Now the person below us who has come back to use his holiday flat can't get much of a TV signal. Is there a chance that my old back plate acted as a pass through from a communal aerial?
