Might go down the MDF DIY screen route but really wanting a 78" x 44" (16:9) screen

So with 4' MDF this would only leave 2" for masking border. Would this look a bit odd? Or maybe I could make frame andhave it overhanging screen a little.

    Hi Rooster,

I know that trade suppliers (not sure about B&Q) supply sheet materials including MDF in 8'x6' - but if it was me I'd use the 2" at the top and the bottom and let the frame overhang a little - the frame wouldn't be much more than 4" wide altogether, would it ?

No 4" is what im looking for. Just think 2" would be too narrow and look a bit odd
