hello all :) is it possible to change the dvd player from an all in one system? the reason i am asking is because im waiting delivery on a new 42" plasma and would like an all in one cinema system(panasonic scht880 looks good).but with blue ray etc comming out soon im a bit wary of spending a lot, only to find that i can`t upgrade to a new player without ditching the whole sh`bang
would another panasonic player work the surround sound?
    thanks alot

you'd be safer to look at the scht15 or scht17 and choose a seperate dvd player/recorder to connect to it!
RRP £250 and £450 respectively, better units than all in ones and one step closer to seperates.

Anyone looking to buy any of Panasonic's all-in-one dvd/amp/speaker combos be warned - they no longer have external dts or even prologic II capabilities - you can only get 5.1 from playing a DVD internally! (
