The new box with 160 gig hard drive comes out in October and I was wandering will current sky+ box owners be able to change their boxes for a small fee?

    Small fee?
    I seriously doubt it:)

More like a big fee, since the price difference is £200 does anyone think SKY would let use have this new model for anything less and remember they only consider refurbs to be worth £99 so that's a £300 gap!

Anything is possible though but since they still don't offer current subscribers new digiboxes at cost to replace old and slow models I wouldn't hold ya breath:)

not a chance in hell. We'll have to see what the new box can do but if it is nothing to worthwhile just put a 160Gb HDD in your current box which will cost you around £50

this is only for people who do not currently have sky. If you already own sky it is still £199
However, there is another £99 Sky+ offer, multiroom.
