i have been looking high and low and i cant say i have seen anything better
but i am not an expert lol
the 37 or the 42 are now the questions i am asking myself
or shall i hold back for price drops ???
the cheapest i have seen so far are about 2 grand for the 37 and 2 and a half for the 42
i reckon the 37 will drop to 1500 and the 42 to 2 grand before the new year
    WHAT DO YOU THINK ???

    The PV500 is HD!

So is the PHD8, and that is better than the PV500.

Thats about the average price if you have a good search!!!
That was with the panny dvd recorder thrown in!!

Dont let your choice be swayed by Welwynnick the PHD8 is a plasma panel and not a plasma tv so has no tuner, speakers ,I/O boards built in.
    Internal circuitry is the same!!

the circuits are not the same infact they are very different and the PV500 is very limited in terms of adjustment and control, its a great telly but thats all it cant comete with a proper panel with proper adjustments and the marketing man software is pretty ropey and will often reduce PQ there is a worldof difference between a plasma TV and a panel especially panny models (TV's are deisgned for your gran to be able to use)
