    Hi All

Am I right in thinking that the 8p can be used as a mono amp and if so can two of them be used successfully (i.e. good sonic performance, better than biamp config) in a bridged configuration. Also what similar amp for pre amp duties. At present I have an Alpha 7 integrated and one 8p power amp. (I'm not sure if the Alpha 7 has enough preouts?)

    thanks

No you cannot bridge the 8P. It is possible to use the 2 channels in parallel, using the supplied link, to drive the treble and bass units of one loudspeaker (e.g. a centre) but not anything else. You can also daisy chain units IIRC.

If you want your system to go louder you'll need to buy a bigger power amp (P80 or P90)!!!
