can the 895 do this.....

I've got a slightly odd setup - bear in mind I'm a cheap bar steward who doesnt want to pay for sky multi-room!

I have my Sky+ box downstairs feeding my lounge TV. I have the rf cable coming out and plumbed into the house co-ax (the house has no terrestrial reception - hence sky) - a wall mounted TV in the bedroom shows whatever the sky box is tuned to. Works well, except I'm the one "volunteered" to go change channels or turn it off at night.

I've tried those slyX remote extenders (which plug into the powered on sky rf2 socket) but they degrade the signal too much, so the screen pic is fuzzy.

So...... (after a long ramble!) I was wondering if I bought a Logitech 895, if it could remotely control the sky box (the remote comes with a gadget that transmits infrared to devices?) from another room, while also controlling the wall mounted TV via normal infrared?

I have a One and its simply brilliant, so am hoping that Logitech - and you all - can help me out!

Thanks for any help you can give!

Yes, that's what it's meant to do.
