Can TDT tuner be replaced with HD TDT tuner

I have a Samsung LE40A558P3F LCD TV that is now 3 years old, it has a built in TDT tuner which works fine. As there are now several stations bradcasting in HD down here does anybody know if the tuner can be replaced for a HD one as I have seen that the latest TV's come with HD TDT?

It's not possible.
I presume you mean "DVB" Tuner?

Thanks for the reply. Yes, the question should have been, can the DVB T tuner be replaced by a DVB T2 tuner? (as can and has been done in my satellite receiver) The TV is a full HD. I just wanted to avoid having yet another box on the shelf!
