Can`t transfer demo from PS3 to PSP

Trying to transfer the God of War demo (downloaded via playstation store), but keep getting an error message saying memory stick on psp is "locked". Have formatted memory stick and still get the same - it`s a sandisk 1gb stick (not a fake), do i need to get an official Sony one?

Are you using custom firmware,if not have you got the latest FW on the psp.

Using the latest M33 (3.90) CFW, with latest FW on PS3. Have tried with Sony mem stick and get the same mesage
