Hi all, I am looking to buy a TV in between the £300 - £400 mark in the black Friday deals and have seen these two 4k TV's but I have no clue what the difference is considering they are the same price and same manufacturer. The thing that's got me wondering was one was originally £600+ whereas the other was originally only £400+

TV 1 - This was the TV that was originally more than £600 (LG 43UJ634V)
LG 43 LG ULTRA HD 4K TV | LG Electronics UK

TV 2 - This was the one that was originally around the £400 mark (LG 43UJ630V)
LG 43 LG ULTRA HD 4K TV | LG Electronics UK

If anyone could tell me the difference I have been spending hours and I cannot work it out for the life of me. Or if anyone has any better suggestions in the same price range of around £300 - £400 for a 4K that would be great.

I think its just cosmetic differences, one has end legs and one has a central stand. Displayspecifications.com says the 634 has ultra luminance which is not listed for the 630 but I believe thats just a fake contrast manipulator and is probably on the 630 as well OR on neither! Nothing worthwhile anyway.

The TV's are not good though and use the rgbw pixel structure which gives a not completely 4k resolution. Great gaming input lag (the best of any tv) great smart functions but not good picture quality. But I don't know what else you would get for the circa £350 they are going for at the moment.

Thanks, I thought the main difference was cosmetic, if I was push the budget up a little to circa £450 is there anything you'd recommend? I was thinking if I pushed it up to go for say the SAMSUNG UE43MU6100

I think they are all much of a muchness around that price range. Keep an eye out tomorrow and see if you can find a Hisense 6800 as it appears to be well liked here.

I've answered this in many a previous thread but I will paste it here again:
    Translated from setcombg.com

However, I would never touch LGs unless I needed wide viewing angles.
