I don't want to burst your bubble but that isn't really a gaming PC, it will struggle with older PC games and will have no chance with modern games.

So basically like playing the game on an X-Box 360...

Also, if your PC is only for gaming, generally you don't need 16GB RAM (8GB). Especially if you're on tight budget the money will be better spent elsewhere.

Looks like an ebay "special" to me. i.e. not very good at all.

Apart from the bad graphics and terrible fps the tearing is absolutely shocking in that video, it would drive me crazy!

Don't let that put you off though, save more and get better and it'll be well worth it in the end :)

I wish tearing didn't bother me, but I can't stand it now. I find it to be a complete immersion breaker, and it just reminds me that I'm playing a video game! (well you always know of course, but it breaks you out of the moment).

If it's bad like in that video then yeah i agree and looks worse with the low fps, but generally u dont get much if any if around or above 60fps.

OP gonna need dedicated GPU or may as well just go to the consoles.

.....a new user, given the stark cold truth. Great! He wont be back :)

Hopefully untrue, and sadly can only echo what has been said above. Check the stickys in this forum for some build options and stay away from any ebay builds in general (I am sure there are some good ones, but most are not). As a very rough build, stick with an Intel i5 CPU as a minimum for a gaming machine build, with a GPU that is a minimum of £150.

If you have a budget, then post here and more than one of the members here will help you spend it, then spend more on top. :)

I think the going rate these days is add roughly 25% to the budget, if the buyer is weak maybe double that :)

I think I went +100% thanks to you lot

To the OP: there's plenty of people here who can give you solid build advice, you just need to outline your budget and if it's quite tight, the classifieds are often a good source of cheap but still decent components.

I'm making a big assumption that you're willing to build a machine, because that's probably the best way to go. If you've not thought about it before, then don't be put off, they really aren't difficult to build and it's a bit like pulling together a jigsaw puzzle with just a few pieces. It's fun too
