Since I am in US I can't record Euro1080. I am looking for Eurosong for Kids and TMF Music Awards. These two shows will never be shown in US on any HD channel. I would greatly appreciate this. All I need is the transport streams recorded from satellite. I have the ability to record most HD available in US so I can record stuff in return.

BTW, those of you who imported JVC30k or 40K from US can archive Euro1080 to HD DVHS. Both units record 1080i50Hz no problem as lond as it is fed valid DVB transport stream. Playback works too but video is dispalyed at 60Hz so picture is little jerky on panning shots but otherwise it is great.

    Thanks
    Chris

really?? didn;t know that. How would you feed the player though, doesn't it have to go through firewire in and Euro1080 STB doesn't have firewire.
Or can the sat signal be fed into DVHS player using loop through connection on Euro1080 STB?

You need to record Euro1080 on PC using satellite card. Most record DTV as transport stream. Then you can transfer .ts file to DVHS using PC firwire card and software like DVHSTool or CapDVHS.
