My old 32 CRT is starting to play up so i'm having to buy an LCD/Plasma sooner than i thought. I'll be ordering it from Littlewoods which i don't mind because i can pay it over the year interest free. My knowledge of HD is sketchy at best but from what i understand i wouldn't need a 1080 as i wouldn't see the benefit on a 42".
Which model would perform best using Sky+, DvdPlayer through the Scart, Xbox 360 Elite using the HDMI and possibly playing things through the PC i.e Avi's, HD trailers and such?
