I have ripped my personal DVDs in their original VTS folders but VLC and Front Row gives errors while playing them back and I dont have time to mess around. Plus its not user friendly for my husband who is not very tech savvy.

Can someone pls tell me their Apple format settings so HandBrake can convert the files to something easily playable? for highest quality. I have used the default settings but they create 700mb files which I am sure can be improved upon.

I also want to keep a copy in something called iso... I keep reading about it here. Which converter will do that for me (preferably on a mac but I also have a pc which I can use)

    Thank you

You are best to actually rip the DVDS to an ISO (MagicISO is your friend here) which can then be read by various programs i.e PowerDVD, VLC, Media Centre (with appriopate add on) whilst maintaining best quality, subtitles, 5.1, special features and so on.
