    Hi Guys

I have my PS3 connected to broadband via a wired router. I dont have any form of wireless in the house and would like to be able to connect my PSP so I can online game etc. I have remote play set up and that works fine, but is there any way of connecting PSP to the network via PS3?

    Thanks for your help

    Mitch

Browsing the internet and playing online are not the same thing though. I may be incorrect regards my earlier comments but I don't think you canactally use the PS3 to allow you to play wirelessly online with the PSP. I guess the only way to find out is to try it.

    my bad then :(

I would have thought though that if you use the adhoc mode then you should in theory be able to use the PS3 as a wireless access point

I'm not saying it can't. I could be wrong but then I haven't heard or read anywhere of anyone doing this either. I think most people who want to use the PSP/DS wirelessly will either have or invest in a wireless router, or by one of those wi-fi usb adapters that make your PC into a wireless router.

If I recall the original spec of the PS3 was to include a wireless router/connection type thing, along with 2 x HDMI sockets etc. But Sony scrapped these ideas later on.
