I will hopefully be buying an LCD in January and as well was watching dvd films I will also be playing PC and console games on it especially xbox.
Does playing games damage the screen and leave images burnt into the screen?
I was recomended this LCD from soem people on here http://uk.pricegrabber.com/search_getprod.php?masterid=2498741&search=viewsonic+n3000w but I notice I can not connect PC to it so what other LCD screen do you recomend for £100-1500. I am looking to pay about £100 a month.

Thanks in advance for your help and Merry Christmas :)

No, otherwise you would have heard a million people complain that their PC games have damaged their expensive LCD monitors. Games on LCD are fine. You don't get burn in on LCDs and even if you did games move too much to stand a chance of burning in.

Take care though that you don't fall asleep after a gaming session and leave your XBOX or DVD player on the menu screen!

This type of screen image can leave a permanent image burn onto an LCD screenso be careful!

 I was reading the manual for my Philips LCD but I assume it is just a general warning that they put into all their flat screen manuals! :p
