Hello,

Whilst doing a bit of demolition in my front room, ahem!!

I seem to have damaged the clip that holds my centre speaker wire in place on my Yamaha dsp-a5 amp.
Do you know if you can replace said centre speaker clip or do I have to buy a new amp?

Cheers,

Phil

phil b yamaha has office in watford 01923-233166 ask tech supprt re clip /service center etc.

I would try and fix it yourself. Shipping there & back, plus labour will probably be uneconomical.

You've got a excuse to buy a new AV amp! :)

You can probably find something replace it if you are a little creative, look at Maplins of CPC for connectors, I am not sure if they do the spring clips but you can probably rig something up.

To be honest I would phone the insurance and see if they will replace it, there are much better amps around now for not much money, the Marantz for a start. (My last amp was the A5).

HA!

Claimed off the insurance ,no quibbles got me a pioneer d912 for zilcho spondoolicks!!
Marvellous.
