Can laser disc(NTSC) be recorded to DVDR75?

Thank you! But i tried yesterday, using the front composite plugs, i can view the playing but when i press rec/qtr button, the tv screen comes with signal [PAL] and then the player rec mode gone. Pl. advise.

do laserdiscs output macrovision?? the r75 won't record if found I think

No macrovision on laserdiscs. Do you have record mode on Philips on automatic? I'm at work and don't have access to the manual but when I was recording some NTSC discs I think I needed to change from PAL to auto.

Hi, i check the manual and found that there is no mention how to set the record mode to auto or pal or ntsc.

The Philips should auto record PAL or NTSC.There is no need to change the input setting like you have to on Panasonic recorders.
