    Hi, just wanting to know, is it worth me getting someone to take a look at the TV to see what the problem is and if it is fixable?,
    The TV, I’ve had it for around 6/7 years, was hoping to put it in the bedroom, got a new 4K TV in the living room to replace it.

    Three reasons why I want to try and get it fixed and keep it rather than just binning it;
    1. It’s a plasma TV,
    2. It’s a 3D TV,
    3. It’s bigger than my 40” LCD 3D HDTV that I have in the bedroom.

    Just to add:
    Before it blew (causing the mains to trip, cutting the power off in the house)
    When you first switch the TV on, after about 5 minutes it would switch itself off, then I would switch it back on and then it would be ok, it would do this every day when you first switch it on,
    It done this over the course of 2 weeks then the final day (when it blew) when I switched it on there was no picture, just the sound, so I switched it off, then tried it again later on in the day, and that’s when it blew.

    Of course it can be fixed.
    Best to call in a professional and get an estimate.
    Check your local papers for TV Repairs in your area.
