I recently purchased a sky box from ebay. It works fine and it came with a viewing which was a bonus as I just want to view free to air channels.

Unfortunately I don't know the PIN on the card and nor does the previous owner and it's not the default one either. Is there a way of reset the pin by doing a full system reset. Phoning sky is not an option as I am not the original account holder on the card .

Alernatively is there a way of hiding certain channels as my main need for a pin is to have parental control.

    thanks

Buy a new freeview card from Sky, and then set the PIN to whatever you want.
