Hi,
I have a Proline DVD/HDD recorder DVDRH160D and am having trouble watching recorded DVD's on my cheap Pacific player. Do I need to record at a specific speed i.e. SP, LP? or are they just incompatible?

needs to be in the correct format and finalised , but I still find other players can have trouble with recorded dvd,s

running them through a pc and reauthoring does the trick though

The player you wish to play on, has to support the disc type and format.

The most widespread support is for DVD-R in DVD-Video format -

If your player will play commercial DVD's - which is virtually guaranteed - then it will play the above... so record accordingly - assuming you can.

Otherwise - look up the specification for the player and find out exactly what discs type and format it supports and feed it that.

How do I finalise? is this done on my DVD recorder or PC?

Thank you.
