can i use the ps2 controller on a ps3

just wanted confirmation - ebgames in the US seems to be selling an adapter which allows ps2 controllers to be reused on a ps3? is this reliable?

after spending a bundle, not really looking forward to rebuying another 4 controllers

I believe the PS3 uses USB so it may work with an adaptor.

It would be interesting to see if the rumble feature works on any of the PS3 games, I would doubt it very much though.

There is a jap PS3 on display in a games shop in Manchester, near piccadilly station.

They had a dual shock 2 control pad attached to it (as obviously someone would run of with the blue-tuth pad) so yes they do work.

Rumble does not work

and sorry i didnt take note of how it was wired up
