    Hi,

If I connect my dvd to my tv using a component-to-scart cable, will my tv accept the dvd players prog scan image? Does my tv have to be prog scan compliant?

    Cheers,
    DT

Oh well, I thought that might be the case :(

Another question, then: Will I get better picture quality using a component-scart lead as opposed to a scart-scart lead (all other things being equal)?

I know I won't be getting component quality images on my tv but will there be a slight improvement, or will the difference be negligable?

    Thanks,
    DT
