I have a Marantz SR4200 amp plus Jamo E430 front speakers (75 watt).

I was considering using 2 old Bang and Olufson 4 ohm 75watt speakers, belonging to a old hifi I have for the rear surrounds.

Is this a good idea?, or would I be better off purchasing some new smaller rear surround speakers. Do you think??????

    Any thoughts very much appreciated......

It is certainly not ideal but there are very few here who have ideal systems. Most have started out with systems not dissimilar to yours and have improved them as additional funds have become available. It will work. The important speakers are L, C and R. Concentrate your money elswhere for now, the B and O will 'get you going'.
