In windows 7 I notice if I right click the IE icon in my taskbar or start menu etc it always displays most "frequent" sites I visit, can I disable this option as I dont want a list of clients websites and admin logins being added as it is now.

Thanks

get fire fox, doesnt have this problem...then you can surf all the porn you want and no one will be any the wiser!

Is it not more of an OS feature than the software feature itself?
I know that W7 shows recently played MP3s in Winamp, recently played videos in VLC etc, I assume it does the same for recently viewed pages in the browser?

Yes you can disable this, it is hidden somewhere in the options. I can't remember it off by heart, but when I get home I'll have a look for you.

I suspect it has something to do with these settings...

The reason they are greyed out on mine is because I manage those kind of settings via Group Policy. Which is encompassed by one setting "Turn off user tracking".
