    Dear all,

Having done some research on this forum it sounds like people are having good results with the Panny S97 connected by HDMI to the Pioneer XDEs. Looks like I made my decision a bit late as I couldn't find any websites with any stock at the prices they were going for previously (£150ish). Anyone know a source?

As for alternatives, my requirements are as follows:
    Price £200 or less
Best picture on HDMI (I'm told the Pioneer XDE's component input is not quite as good as HDMI)
    Coaxial digital audio output
    Don't care about SACD/DVDA
Don't care about analogue audio output
Don't care about analogue video output

I note the 1920 is coming out soon, has anyone seen one compared to a 1910 - is it just SACD/DVDA and the DVI->HDMI that's changed?

On a slightly different note, I saw a really useful website where loads of DVD players were rated technically, with scores out of 100, and details of macroblocking etc. I think the Panny rated about 87 and the Denon 1910 about 82 etc. I'm sure someone knows what the site is, please remind me!

    Cheers
    Phil
