Hi,

OK, starting to think about cabling for my new room.

I have a Yamaha 765 7.1 reciever, but am only using 5.1 sound. Is it possible to biwire some of the speakers? Perhaps the front two sides? And, should I?

Does it just involve running another set of speaker wire from the amp (two spare channels) to the speakers (MA R250's).

Cheers.

For reference, what you're talking about is bi-amping rather than bi-wiring (which involves running two sets of cable from the a single amp output to the same speaker). Having said that the MA Radius range is neither bi-wireable nor bi-ampable. You need two sets of binding posts on the speaker in order to do either.

Cheers. I wasnt sure if you could biwire (or biamp) without two sets of poles on the speakers or not.

Cheers anyway.
