    Hi all,
    I have a Thompson 27LCDB03B
Every time i turn it on from stand-by it is in 4-3 ratio and i have to scroll through the zoom modes to get to 16-9.
Is there a way of locking the mode onto 16-9 so i dont have to mess about it every time i switch it on?
I have read the manual i promise ;) but it makes no mention about it so i thought maybe somebody here can help.
    Thanks for any help,
    Best regards,
    John.

Try turning off "Auto format" in the Picture - Other Settings menu, that disables auto-widescreen switching and allows an aspect ratio to be manually set on the input instead.
