I hope you can help.
I'm thinking of downsizing my home cinema setup and buying a Yamaha YSP-5600.
The only issue is that I would like to slot it into the top shelf of my glass TV stand.
The stand is very similar to this
I have read the guides to the Sound Bar and it suggests nothing 5cm above or below it, which doesn't make sense even with it installed on the very top shelf, as it would have something 5 cm under it!!
From looking at pictures of the Sound Bar without the grill on, it does not appear to have any top or side firing speakers, they all look like they are on the front and are angled diagonally out to project the sound L/R/Up.
So getting to my question, if I place it right at the front on the "middle" shelf of my unit, with a glass shelf above it and the round legs to the left and right, will it function as designed?
