Basically my parents have Sky + and a 2nd sky box on the same dish (sister has the 2nd box). I've been waiting for ages for sky hd, and it seems its coming pretty soon. What i want to know is, will i be able to get Sky HD or will they not let me have it because of the 2 other sky boxes?

    Any help is appreciated.

Sky will not allow two accounts at the same address...you'll just have to extend the multiroom option to include HD. You'll need a new LNB or dish

I am pretty sure like any buisness that wants your money you can have as many accounts as you like,as long as you hand over your readies you can have as many and call them what you like, at the end of the day Sky make money, it just so happens that they make it by supplying TV viewing:eek:

If we have NTL in our house (My parents pay for this, its not in my room though). So would they still install HD Sky just for in my room, or do the two companies not allow this for some reason?

No Problems with having NTL and Sky.

We have NTL for Broadband and Phone and Sky for TV

In fact you could have Sky and NTL in the same room

Three weeks ago my brother got a second sky account at his address, one for him and one for his son, so yes you can have two.

Hi, what you need to do is count the second account as an 'annex', that is, seperate living quarters within the same house. My dad did this, we now have two accounts to our house with his referred to as the 'annex'.
