    Hi,

In the olden days 4 or 5 years ago when people had MP3 players, it was possible to get a set of earphones that had inline controls - e.g skip, volume, pause-resume but no microphone. In modern times like now, everyone is assumed to be listening to music on a phone so the controls invariably include a mic.

Now regardless of the fact that nobody ever calls me, and I have no friends to call back either, is it possible to get some earbuds with inline controls, but without a microphone?

I like to listen to music on my motorbike but the wind noise keeps activating the voice controlled Google assistant/search.

Thanks for any and all suggestions

p.s. the buds need to be able to be worn under a crash helmet, so not too sticky outy
p.p.s I've been riding bikes for nearly 40 years so am aware of the risks

What about a blob of hot melt glue over the microphone aperture, or plascine or even sticky tape. ?

If no one calls you and you call nobody back why does it matter there is a microphone?

Thanks for the glue suggestions - I tried gumming up the pin-hole with some superglue but it hasn't worked. Maybe I'll get the Araldite out and give that a go
