    I have a Samsung WS 28W 63N - TV
Samsung DVD E234 - DVD Player

The DVD player has all the usuall connections - Analog RCa's,SVideo,Optical + Coaxial.
The TV has 2 Scarts on back and Analog RCA's and Headphone on FRONT

Can I connect a 5.1 surround system to this set-up so the sound from BOTH the TV and DVD work through the surround speaker system ?

I dont want to use the front connections on the TV for cosmetic/practical reasons , but can't see how to do this as the TV only has scart connections on back.

Any advise ,and info on any adapters I would need , to make this possible would be gratefully received.

    Thanks , in advance.

Are you sure you have no phono outputs at the back of the tv?..If you haven't you can get a scart connector with phono sockets as well which would enable you to break out the audio from the tv. More important do you already have a surround amp?.Send a private message if you like I'm in your area
