    I've just borrowed a Dreamcast S-vid cable.

Using it with a Panasonic 32PK1, picture is in black and white.

What am I doing wrong? There doesn't appear to be an option to set what type of output signal on the DC.

    Thanks

Have you switch the TV to S-video. I have a panny 36PF10 and when you select the Scart using the AV button then the coloured button the first time it is composite and then you need to press it again to get it to S-video.

    Hope that makes sense.

    Aha! Aren't forums wonderful.

I hadn't noticed that double press when I'd switched to AV3.

    Many thanks Cossie

Does the S-Video cable cause the picture to shift to the left?

Just that I have the official RGB cable and it causes the picture to shift about 1 inch to the left. Was thinking of getting an S-Video cable instead but I want to know whether the same thing happens.
