Can HD Freeview be retrofitted?

Hi,

I have a KDL 40W4500 and have just invested in a Freeview HDR box. Unfortunately it's massive and ruins the look of my setup, it is also far too confusing for my other half!

Is it possible to upgrade a component in my TV so that it receives HD transmissions and can be controlled via the TV remote control? If so then I'll figure out another way of recording the occasional program and get rid of the HDR I've just bought.

Might be a long shot but thought I'd best ask.

Cheers,

Dan

I don't think they can. AFAIK, the W4500 series already has an HD tuner built in, which is used for European Freeview, but we in the UK are using a different system.
