It depends on what iPod remote you've got.
The official Apple iPod remote is IR, and the Harmony will work.
Many of the aftermarket iPod remotes use RF, so the Harmony won't work with those.

Because all iPod remotes use an add-on receiver, there isn't a "standard" code set.

Rather than open a new thread.......Ive been trying to get my ipod hi-fi working with my Harmony 795.

Ive set up my ipod nano as one device (digital music player) and the ipod hi-fi as another device (amplifier), and have tought my Harmony 895 the codes from the ipod remote.

I can now turn it on/off OK, and skip forward/previous track but cant get the volume up/down to work even though it seems to learn it ok from the remote.

Any suggestions?
